Refer to Failure to Connect (BLE) for the X-Series. Review some basic settings below to ensure proper connection.

Review the "Connecting to iOS" help guide first before continuing on.

Ensure Bluetooth is ON within the iOS main settings

Check to make sure that Bluetooth is ON within the iOS device settings. On the iOS device go into SETTINGS and select Bluetooth. If OFF, click on the slider bar to turn ON.

Ensure Bluetooth is ON for your application within the iOS main settings

Check to make sure that Bluetooth is ON within the main app settings on your iOS device running. On the iOS device go into SETTINGS and select your program from the list in the left hand column. In this example we are using ORBITAS. You will see several selections. Make sure Bluetooth is ON. If off, click on the slider bar to turn ON. Your chosen program should automatically connect to your Asteri GNSS receiver. If it does not, simply close the program and relaunch. Ensure you have all other settings correct within your program of choice. If using Orbitas, you can refer to the user guide.

Still Having Bluetooth issues?

It is possible that a board failure on the Asteri receiver is causing the Bluetooth issue. If you feel this is the case, please send the device to our office for evaluation. Contact your local Tri-Global representative for further details. Or fill out our Request for Evaluation form.
